The Gold Coast District Rugby Union extends its deepest gratitude to three outstanding individuals, Paul Gist, Tom Robinson, and Steve Sloan, who are stepping down from their respective board roles after dedicated terms of service.

Each has played a pivotal role in shaping rugby on the Gold Coast and laying the foundations for rugby to thrive in the region.

Paul Gist, who served a one-year term (2022-2023), contributed significantly to the logistical efficiency of our operations, and played an instrumental role in the success of the Cyclones Representative Program. His commitment to excellence and strategic thinking has left an indelible mark on the organization.

Tom Robinson, with two consecutive terms spanning 2021-2022 and 2022-2023, lent his expertise as a Legal Consultant and Judiciary specialist. His invaluable legal insights have fortified the governance structure of the Gold Coast District Rugby Union, ensuring fairness and adherence to the highest standards.

Steve Sloan, during his dual-term tenure from 2021-2022 to 2022-2023, spearheaded the Sponsorship and Marketing portfolio. His visionary approach elevated the organisation's brand and secured vital sponsorships, contributing significantly to the financial health and sustainability of Gold Coast rugby.

Their unwavering dedication, expertise, and passion for rugby have been pivotal in our growth and success.

As these esteemed individuals transition from their board roles, we express our deepest appreciation for their invaluable contributions, wishing them continued success in their future endeavours.

The Gold Coast rugby community remains indebted to their service.
