Codes and Policies
There are a number of Policies and Procedures that apply to the playing of Rugby Union on the Gold Coast. Competition administrators especially need to have a sound understanding of the policies that must apply if the competition is to be sanctioned by the GCDRU.
There are particular policies that players, coaches and administrators should be familiar with, view each of the policies or procedures below:
CHILD SAFETY & WELLBEING
Queensland's Child Safe Standards now apply to all rugby clubs and associations. QRU's Child Safeguarding Support Project, funded by a QFCC grant, provides free templates, workshops and resources to help clubs comply, covering safe recruitment, reporting, risk management and youth voice.
